OCT16 6 CRAWLEY BRAWLEY!
There he goes! Just this morning, he was moving around on his tummy using his arms. Now, there he goes, crawling with his legs! Right in front of his Aunty Ornella. His cute leggy-beggies kicking like a little froggy! In a split second, he was across the room. He's already gravitating towards the door, eager to get out of his room.
Dear Dean, you will be walking soon.

The Dean's Own Room
Gonna miss him! Hahaha. Not really. He just moved into another room.
Today, the Man and I did some shifting around in our "apartment". After the (much-needed) banister was completed in the afternoon, we moved our new TV into the hall/living area. Wayne's old-room-turned-entertainment-room is now free to be the Dean's room.
This involved creativity and a lot of furniture shuffling. With such limited space, we needed to think in-the-box! Everything had to fit snugly and conveniently. Now, our room is solely for us, and the study table now replaces the cot (time for assignments!).
It's 11.30pm and the Dean is now sleeping in his room, which is spacious, providing him ample space to move around. We can now stop worrying about him chewing on the laptop charger or other electronic devices, which he is very attracted to (just like his Daddad, sigh).
P.S. We might need to buy him a toy phone with colorful buttons for his first Christmas so that he'll stop slobbering on ours.

Been Meaning to Post...
Been meaning to blog for a while now. Even used Gmail to save my writings so I can publish them later. But as you can see, it's been more than a month since I last blogged. In fact, I have a couple of articles that I have saved as drafts (+ ideas in my head) that I have been meaning to publish for the past few weeks. Arghhh. Please tell me I'm not the only one.
So, here's what's been happening...
OCT16 6 Months!
Wow, a lot has been happening since he turned six months! The biggest milestone would be eating. My baby's a big man now.
And I've noticed several things. [1] He has started to lift himself up to be carried. Cute! [2] After rolling onto his stomach, he is now able to place both arms in front of him (as opposed to having his arms squashed under him. LOL. [3] The Dean rolls over mostly on his right arm, to the right. He might be right-handed?
NOV18 FIRSTS!
Today, the Dean rode his stroller like a man. He has already started sitting up without support last month at six months; but, today he sat up while holding the front bar on his stroller. It's a pity that I didn't have my camera phone ready to capture the moment. What I did manage to capture was the Dean sucking on his first ice! He's growing up way too fast for my liking.
NOV22 Eating Out of a Spoon
Woot woot! Today is the third day that the Dean has successfully eaten off the spoon without help. Cute! It all began when he mewled sadly while I was having an icy glass of lemonade. So, I gave him a tiny piece of ice on a teaspoon. He instinctively sucked on it, drawing the melted water in. That evening during his meal, he did the same with his food, which coincidentally was more watery than usual. I think I should make his cereal more watery from now on.
DEC9 Like A Big Boy
Awww, look at him. His legs can go through the divider on his stroller! Cuteness overload, I say! All he wants to do these days is move. He just can't stand or sit still. He even loves to rock, also both while standing and sitting! He has always been like this. Even when he was in the tummy, he kicked around so much, my rib-cage was sore!
DEC14 Toe Nibbler Alert!
I say, this Boogie, I say! What do you know, he bent down today and started sucking his toe, repeatedly! Super cute!
DEC18 (Present Day) Meeting Kovi

DEC18 (Present Day) Meeting Kovi
We got a maid today. Her name's Kovi and Dean seems to feel comfortable with her already. I hope he doesn't get too attached to her. Of course, my main concern, as with any parent would have, is "Is she competent enough?" I suppose only time and training will tell.
I hope everything goes well. Fingers crossed.
